We also offer many in-house services which can vary week to week, these include hairdressing, a clothing bank, care packages, access to a library, craft activities, table tennis, board games.
Our aim is pure and simply, to show love and acceptance to the variety of friends who join us. And to help us achieve this, we have an incredible team of volunteers from a wide variety of backgrounds around Bradford who help us to do what we do.
Our Story
The Immanuel Project began in the winter of 2010, in response to the needs of those on the streets of Bradford who needed a place to go, and a warm meal during the coldest time of the year. Although intended to be solely set-up for a few weeks, the project stayed open. It is now a registered charity and continues to go from strength to strength!
We trust you will enjoy finding out more about us, and if we can help you any further do not hesitate to contact us.

Become a Volunteer Today
If you can make a cup of tea, help the team prepare lunch, are comfortable sitting with people and providing them with a listening ear and giving some good old fashioned TLC, we’d love to hear from you!
We’d also love to hear from specialist volunteers – if you’re a dentist, or a teacher, a hairdresser, or have a specialist trade and can commit to coming along to provide our guests with services that could help and support them, please get in touch.
To volunteer, please email us. We would love to meet you, and to chat through how you’d like to help!
